Our first AI art competition with cash prizes was held on the last week of February with results drawn on the 2nd of March.
3 cash prizes were up for grabs: $20, $10 and $5 for first second and third place respectively.
The general standard for the competition was high although I was a little disappointed by attempts to manipulate the results through mass liking images and people submitting work that clearly wasn’t theirs.
As a result the final result was not chosen on total Facebook likes and was instead a judges decision.
